Cookie Policy
Last updated: September 26, 2026
This policy explains how LumeClip uses cookies and similar technologies.
What are cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work correctly and to provide information to site owners.
Cookies we use
Essential cookies (required)
These cookies are indispensable for the service to function:
- Authentication session — keeps you logged in between pages. Without this cookie, you would need to log in on every page. Duration: session / 30 days (if you choose "stay logged in").
- CSRF token — protects your requests against cross-site request forgery attacks. Duration: session.
These cookies cannot be disabled without compromising the functionality of the service.
Analytics cookies
We use Vercel Analytics to count visits and page views. It does not set any cookie in your browser, and the data is aggregated without identifying you.
We also use Google Analytics 4, only if you click "Accept" on the cookie notice. Before that, and if you decline, Google's script is not even loaded. Once you accept, Google sets the _ga and _ga_<id> cookies (lasting up to 2 years) to tell visits apart, and we receive aggregated reports: pages viewed, where the visit came from (search, social network, link), country, device type and two conversions, "sign-up completed" and "subscription confirmed" (with the plan name). We do not send Google your name, email or anything about your videos. Google signals for advertising and ad personalization are turned off. See Google's privacy policy.
Third-party cookies
- Google OAuth — during the Google login flow, Google may set its own cookies to manage the authentication process. See Google's privacy policy.
- Stripe — when accessing the payment page, Stripe sets cookies for fraud prevention and secure processing. See Stripe's privacy policy.
How to manage cookies
You can change your choice about analytics cookies at any time, right here. Declining after having accepted turns Google Analytics off immediately and deletes its cookies from this site.
Analytics cookies: you have not chosen yet. Until you do, Google Analytics is not loaded.
You can control and/or delete cookies in your browser settings. Please note that disabling essential cookies will prevent the platform from functioning correctly — you will not be able to log in.
